Craig Chambers, owner of Disc-Connection, began his music career as a drummer in high school. He played in a swing band for more than 10 years. During this same time he taught drum lessons, to some 80 students a week, and managed a music store.
Craig made the transition from live music to "spinning" during the Disco era. His favorite memory from this time was "backing" Wolfman Jack in Salt Lake City. He has been a disc-jockey for more than 25 years, personally doing more than 200 engagements a year, and coordinating that many engagements within his network of disc-jockeys.
